I was able to check in 30 minutes earlier, luckily my room was available so I didn't wait too long. The whole ambience of Alona Pawikan was refreshing, I love that the bungalows was surrounded by greeneries! I was able to spot a calamansi tree! The room smells good when I entered it and I was surprised by the spacious room. No problem with the toilet since it has a bidet, and shower was with heater. Water can be refilled which is a nice thing. They have hand and body soap, sufficient supply of tissue roll. Just bring slippers, toiletries such as shampoo and toothbrush since they don't have it in the room. Location is great! I just walked to the nearby Alona beach.

Perfect place to stay in Panglao, a bit away from the noisy Streets, but still close. Super quiet, clean, cozy and comfortable. Such cozy huts embedded in a beautiful garden, made me feel like I was in the jungle. Air condition, refrigerator, kettle, coffe and tea for free. They even had a hair dryer. Free fill up water. Staff was friendly. A very nice yoga place at the property which offered one yoga class for free. Close by restaurant Lekker garden that was really good. Laundry next door at the Viking place. I would have loved to syay longer but it was fully booked unfortunately.

We loved the stay there. Hospitable staff, very friendly and helpful smilling all the time. Amazing people. Cottages are comfortable, spacious and clean. You can relax there with many nature sounds around. We had delicious breakfasts next door at a little resort runs by a brother Alona Pawikan's owner. We used to walk to the main beach but it is possible to rent a bike at the hotel easily. A little bit aside but thanks to it you will feel really relaxed. Little local shops around. I highly reccommend Alona Pawikan. If you are fan of yoga you can join morning classes.

We stayed in a quiet bungalow at Alona Pawikan for five nights recently during a three-week trip to the Central Visayas Islands. The garden setting in lovely and our room and porch was very comfortable. The staff is incredibly welcoming and allowed us to check two hours early. The attached bar, "Ken's Place" is popular, including with locals, and we often ran into the owner and staff of the dive shop we used there, as well as other divers. They have a great happy hour and what must be the best selection of beers in the Philippines!
